Before I knew it I was on a plain to Dusseldorf to begin anther photo epic of a one day ahead challenge ride for Cure Leukaemia , as part of the 3 Tours Challenge. The Tour de France was the 2nd grand tour on the pro cycling calendar, our five riders of Doug Mickinnon, Geoff Thomas, James Matlin, Hayden Groves, and Marcus Leach nicely recovered fro the 3 week ride around Italy were going to do it all again follow the route of the professional race rout of the Tour De France, another 3,500 kilometres and over 2,500meters of mountain passed to cycle over for CureLeukaimia.
From Germany through Belgium to France the sun was waiting for the rides to arrive. With hot summer days ahead the Temperature soon became other issue as the open farmland radiated the midway temperature over 30 degrees.
The Mountains were looming, with no let up in the scorching temperatures, the mountains would offer some relief to the heat but the gradient just got tougher.

3,500 kilometers later the riders got to Paris on a dull wet day. Finish as they started with the rain. Next is Spain for the last of the Grand Tours
